Set up in 1987 on the back of men’s and women’s button-making company Ettore Scaburri (which was first founded in 1940), Gruppo Uniesse works in various production and commercial areas and is constantly growing both nationally and internationally. Comprising two industrial divisions for fashion, buttons and shoulder pads, the group has a long-standing partnership with a Madagascar manufacturer specialised in processing natural materials and accessories in mother-of-pearl, horn, bone and wood. This collaboration enables Gruppo Uniesse to guarantee quality, speed and above all security and reliability.
Its flexible use of materials offers vast possibilities for designing increasingly innovative collections. Creative sensitivity is teamed definitively with experience in the production of urea resin buttons, which closely resemble natural materials. A vast range of polyester buttons is also produced. Gruppo Uniesse’s greatest quality lies is knowing how to team cutting-edge technologies with dynamic sensitivity, often enabling it to anticipate style trends. The raw materials are processed while keeping sustainability standards high; the company installed solar panels reducing the energy it uses.
Its customary focus on details and its passion for looking at the ‘little things’ mean it can achieve the idea of ‘good taste’ that lies at the heart of the company’s productive and creative philosophy.
Many of our products are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, the single standard certification and control in the field of textile raw materials, semi-finished and finished products which allows to identify those products that do not present any risk to the health of the consumer.
