Filidarte Group acquires majority stake in Servizi e Seta
A strategic step towards leadership in the yarn industry
Ethica Global Investments, an investment company promoted by Ethica Group, announces the acquisition of a majority stake in Servizi e Seta S.r.l., marking an important milestone in the growth of Filidarte Group. Thanks to this operation, the Group consolidates its position as a landmark in the sector of yarns of excellence, enhancing Italian expertise in the international fashion market. Alberto Enoch, Managing Director of Servizi e Seta, will continue to lead the company to ensure a smooth transition and will make an important contribution to the group’s growth plans. As proof of the project’s solidity and prospects, Alberto Enoch and other Servizi e Seta shareholders have chosen to reinvest in Filidarte Group, confirming a shared vision and strong alignment with the value creation strategy.
This choice, in line with that expressed in the past by the Group’s management team, reflects full confidence in its growth strategy and in the shared objective of establishing itself as a global leader in high-end yarns. As part of its strategic expansion plan, the Group, established in 2022 and currently comprising Lanificio dell’Olivo and Manifattura Sesia, acquired 75.06% of Servizi e Seta, a high quality Italian business based in Occhieppo Superiore (BI). The company has demonstrated strong growth with excellence in the production and marketing of pure silk yarns and blends with premium fibres, pure linen and blends with natural fibres, as well as wool and wool-blend yarns processed in a super-fine semi-carded process. This acquisition represents a fundamental step in strengthening the Filidarte Group, consolidating its leadership in premium natural yarns such as silk, a key material for positioning in the Premium & Luxury knitwear and jersey segment.
In addition, thanks to Servizi e Seta’s established presence in China and offices in New York and Hong Kong, the Group will benefit from greater control over raw materials, respond quickly to market developments and accelerate international expansion.
