“Craftiest Bitch in Town” is the motto of Juha Vehmaanperä, a Finnish knitwear designer and graduate of Aalto University in Helsinki. His aesthetic combines artisanal techniques with the functionality of sports fabrics, creating garments with unusual textures and vibrant prints. His collections, including Not Your Mitten and Grand Mothership, challenge the codes of masculinity, exploring gender expression through knitwear. After a stint at Acne Studios, Juha continues to develop a unique language that celebrates the handmade and the power of craftsmanship in contemporary fashion.
