Weiraen

Weiraen is a New York City-based fashion designer who founded his eponymous brand shortly after graduating from Parsons’ MFA in Fashion Design and Society in 2022. The brand fuses experimental and innovative techniques with traditional craftsmanship to subvert conventional practice and traditional objects in fashion design. Through an interdisciplinary approach and textile experimentation, we stand out for creating a new visual language that blurs the boundaries between the physical and virtual worlds. WeiRan is one of the digital artists invited to collaborate with Nick Knight’s SHOWstudio on his first NFT project, ikon-1. His work has appeared in Dazed, Evening Standard, Numero, Paper, V Magazine, and Variety, and has been worn by artists such as Devon Lee Carlson, LORDE, Raveena, Haile Bailey, and Julia Fox, among others.
