55th edition of Futurmoda announced

Following the great success of the October 2025 event and the growing international participation, which brought together 323 companies and over 4,500 visitors, the Spanish Futurmoda fair has announced that its 55th edition will be held on 4 and 5 March 2026 at Fira Alacant, in Elche. On 1 December 2025, the fair presented the manifesto of its new image, which once again features machinery for the footwear and leather goods industry, symbolising the industry’s creative, technological and strategic strength.

The campaign reinforces the role of the machine as a strategic component in the supply chain and ties in with the presentation of the Spring/Summer 2027 trends that will be the focus of this edition. The proposed image, in which the central figure (the machine) is enveloped in an explosion of flowers and bright colours, represents the concept of ‘blossoming’: the machine is the seed of every idea and the aesthetic is the fruit of the production process. Following the presentation, stand bookings were officially opened for both national and international companies.

In addition, the entry of 36 new exhibitors, the expansion of the Green Planet area and a technical agenda focusing on sustainability, artificial intelligence, robotics, European regulations and circularity have reaffirmed Futurmoda as a strategic platform for the industry. Edition no. 56 (showcasing Autumn/Winter 2027.28) has been scheduled for 14 and 15 October 2026.
