Synthetic Eden | Season Trends
The synthetic garden is the product of a dream, a vision, a possible scenario in which nature is no longer the antithesis of artifice but part of it. In the synthetic garden, creation is put back together in a new order: trees bloom with alien shoots, roots entwine with optical fibre, skies are coloured with chemical tints. The synthetic garden is a hybrid, pulsating ecosystem in constant transformation. Here matter is intelligent, form is changeable and life is expressed through all-new codes. Radiating lights, interconnected organisms, replicating plants; each being dialogues with the other in a visual symphony that transcends the boundary between real and virtual. It is a mental, dream-like, futuristic landscape; its beauty is hypnotic and all-encompassing, yet fragile and unstable, as if it could vanish at any moment, waking us from the dream. It is the utopia of an augmented future where people and nature rewrite one another, a place where technology does not suppress Mother Earth but amplifies it, where digital progress enables the tree of life to bear new fruit.
