Shy | Materials
In Shy, light yet enveloping garments speak to us of restraint and introspection. Simple dresses, thin knits, button-down blouses, rather like the wearer. Plus, oversize sleeves, protective layers, opaque transparencies, slightly see-through fringes and mesh, veils that uncover only certain parts of the body, as if to safeguard oneself. Finally, barely perceptible embellishments, curled shapes like flower buds about to open, attention to the minor details that can reveal so much. The curves are gentle and the shapes spontaneous, deliberately imperfect, as if to indulge a demure but stubbornly proud temperament.
