Sam Moyer

Sam Moyer was born in Chicago in 1983 and earned a BA from the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, D.C., and a Master of Fine Arts from Yale University in New Haven. Moyer is equally inspired by nature and architecture, film and literature, producing works that range from stone to canvas, metal to glass. She has a strong interest in materiality and the relationship between organic and constructed form.
