In Actually, pre-packaged aesthetics give way to chaotic and spontaneous aspects. The static formality of lines meets a new taste that borders on the grotesque. Formal fabrics combine with irregular weaves in exciting experiments. Slick looks are ‘soiled’ by activewear details and streetwear pieces. Crumpled and vaguely messy looks unmask perfection, pushing us out of our comfort zones. Soft knits and furry textures are combined with pure cotton and stretch fabrics designed for fitness. Colourful and bulky accessories recall oversized and overflowing egos. Chaos reigns supreme in a rhythm continuously broken by off-key notes and disturbing elements.
