Heritage and cutting-edge inform S/S 2026 buttons and shoulder pads

A journey through memory and innovation in which buttons and shoulder pads become tools of sartorial expression, with materials teaming tradition and cutting-edge. Gruppo Uniesse’s S/S 2026 collection (to be presented at Milano Unica between 4 and 6 February 2025) includes four distinct chapters, each with its own aesthetic vision.

The first is Switch, whose subheading could read “when the city breathes nature”. Urban spaces are redefined using sorbet hues: lilac teams with jade green while vibrant pink and pale sea blue set out new colour horizons. Mother-of-pearl unveils all-new luminous depths, corozo plays with new reflections. Shoulder pads, like moving architecture, embrace contemporary silhouettes with natural elegance.

Freedom, on the other hand, is about design embracing a new dimension of lightness. Earthy shades of corozo dialogue with tortoiseshell transparencies. Every element interprets a spontaneous elegance, shoulder pads follow the natural movement of the body creating a perfect balance between presence and impalpability.

With over 70 years of history behind it, the company is naturally also focusing on heritage. With Nostalgia, memory looks to the future and bone takes on refined details, while the streaks in polyester seem to hold memories. From honey to sandy blue, every shade tells a continuing story. Shoulder pads, the legacy of a living sartorial tradition, add character to outerwear with a touch of sophisticated lightness.

Voice, the fourth and final chapter in the season, interprets fashion as a language, in which colours and textures become tools of expression. From light blue to the spicy notes of turmeric and saffron and a dusting of flour white, every element carries a message of expressiveness and connection. Precise fabrications turn each button into a distinctive sign, while structured shoulder pads maintain a tailored focus.

Gruppo Uniesse’s vision continues to evolve through research and quality, focus on responsible production processes and sustainable company management. The S/S 2026 collection, available on the reserved area of the company’s website, invites professionals to explore a new design chapter in which every detail tells a story of care and creativity.
