Riri Group S/S 2024 collection
unveiled at Première Vision Paris

Focus on material inspirations and exploration of materials

Metal and Plastic, the two industrial-themed macro trends presented by Riri Group at Première Vision Paris reveal a vision for a season dominated by a highly expressive variety of colours, suggesting the right style for every moment. Through its philosophy based on constant research and innovation, Riri Group has been a leading supplier of style details to high-end fashion brands for over 85 years. The Group has grown in recent years through strategic acquisitions, which have enabled it to gain specialist technologies and know-how, consolidating its position as a ‘one-stop shop supplier’.

The S/S 2024 collection presented at Première Vision Paris stems from this comprehensive approach, unveiling two complementary macro trends which include six colour inspirations with innovative styles and sophisticated innovation. The search for new materials crosses the moods and enhances a collection designed for every ethical and aesthetic need. This is teamed with technological innovation embodied, for example, by the L1 stainless steel button for leather goods: it fastens and unfastens like a normal press-stud, or pulls to the side for a hook fastening.

METAL TREND

Inspirations from the underground Organic, Natural and Vulcanic

The Organic trend features the green colour of enamels and metallized laminated leathers, and the alternating green and yellow of vertical-striped jacquard ribbons and chains, reworking the natural world with a metallic edge. Natural is the inspiration behind ribbons, pullers and buttons made from natural and sustainable fibres. Ribbons in stitched recycled polyester, linen and hemp, coatings with stitched strips of cork, pullers in recycled hemp, with wooden or ceramic insets made by K4Sint, the latest division to join Riri Group which specialises in sintering processes. Buttons in recycled hemp or with olivewood trim, creating a balance between sustainability and natural or recycled materials. Vulcanic is an explosion of bright colours. Drawing on the concept of fire, the trend is emphasised by shades of red and orange, as well as the use of copper, studs and stone-effect acrylic pullers.

PLASTIC TREND

Vertical inspirations: Nautical, Bubbles and Space

Summer colours are the focus in the Nautical theme, which features a series of inspirations depicting the encounter between water and the beach: boats, anchors, multi-coloured vertical stripes and horizontal bands. Sea blue gives way to sky blue with circular shapes, mother-of-pearl is used for pullers and buttons made by Amom and for glass pullers: Bubbles brings a gentle, harmonious breeze. The air becomes more rarefied as we reach Space: a more technical line dominated by black and neon tints, featuring recycled nylon, stretch ribbons suitable for outdoor apparel and footwear, and overlapping zip applications.
