Pioneers in the field of sustainability since 2018 – being GRS certified for the supply chain of its Green Label sustainable products – Iluna Group presents a new responsible approach to the planet and people that combines innovation, aesthetics and quality across the board. Thanks to its control over and total traceability of the entire production chain, from polymer to finished lace, Iluna measures the growth of its sustainability using the Higg Index.
All lace produced can be converted to both recycled and degradable Green quality. The percentage of sustainable production is constantly growing, from 3% in 2018 to over 50% in 2022. Since 2016, the company has produced 7.5 million metres of Green Label textile using 92,810 kg of GRS certified recycled polyamide: this amounts to a saving of 1.5 million litres of water. Iluna‘s work is based on a continuous search for low-impact solutions and maximum respect for the planet.
Some of its most recent additions include brand-new meshes in GRS Lurex customisable with prints with the same certification, special fabrications such as printing and flock, while its standout materials include organic cotton, FSC® certified mass-dyed viscose and Roica Ecosmart recycled elastomer. Scheduled maintenance of its processes, ongoing training, technologies and production cycle inspections enable the company to offer a certified and premium-quality product.
