Intertek’s Maison Center of Excellence, an innovative experiential space where science meets luxury, is pleased to announce its first in-person event: ‘Sustainable Feelings’. Coinciding with Pitti Immagine Uomo 102 (14-17 June), the exhibition in Lastra a Signa will display artworks by textile creative director and artist Michela Finaurini and is aimed at the entire fashion supply chain.
‘Sustainable Feelings’ embodies the Maison’s focus on the luxury fashion world, ranging from craftsmanship to works of art, sustainable materials to leather, providing the best information on the challenges, trends and issues facing the luxury industry. Michela Finaurini‘s approach to fashion lies in her artistic instinct and her deep commitment to sustainability. The workshop with Michela will explore how to create sustainable moodboards, from conception to final result. To the question “Why Sustainable Feelings?” Michela replied: “Because the sustainable approach can be technically learned, but sustainability itself has to be felt on the inside; it must be part of our cultural values.”
Michela’s artworks have an ethereal, surreal style that inspires and presents new perspectives and points of view for the fashion supply chain. Elena Ruffino, SE+EERCA Sales & Strategy Director at Intertek SL&HL, said “Intertek Maison is excited to open its first in-person event to a specialised audience. We can’t wait to see Michela’s work come to life in our innovative, sustainable, elegant and technologically advanced space. We consider the space a home where science meets luxury because of its proximity to our workshops of excellence. We thank Michela for choosing our venue for her beautiful and original exhibition.”
