In the past few months, the Vittorio Veneto based wool mill has already shown how committed it is to researching green and sustainable products. With the last Spring/Summer fabrics collection, Bottoli proposed innovative yarns such as nettle, seaweed fibres, jasmine, abaca, all accompanied by vegetable dyes in particular in the tones of noisette using catechu and the charming indigo.
This year, Bottoli welcomes us with a warm cup of coffee: the aroma of Arabica envelops us and the jute sacks are transformed into precious drapes.
The new product will in fact be a natural jute fabric with an overlay of thin silk threads with vegetable dye.
The same dye will be obtained through a process of re-use of coffee grounds, also made by Bottoli. For the reuse and collection of coffee grounds Bottoli has an exceptional partner: Caffè Dersut, excellence in the Veneto region in the trade of the beloved drink. Dersut will commit itself to start the collection of the funds in its 4000 partner shops around the world.
