Servizi e Seta presents ‘The Journey Begins’

For Servizi e Seta, the journey is an ongoing creative process of exploration, research and transformation. It is driven by curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. The journey itself becomes an essential part, perhaps the most authentic part, of the destination. For Spring/Summer 2027 the company is beginning a new journey that focuses on materials, manufacturing excellence and a contemporary vision of yarn, in which movement becomes value and curiosity guides every decision. The collection stems from a deep focus on the quality of raw materials and develops around three key words: lightness, sheen and softness. Servizi e Seta explores new yarns, blends and counts, designed to meet the needs of an evolving market, anticipating an increasing use of natural fibres. 

The colour charts are enriched with distinctive touches, the products are renewed, and the stylistic proposals open up new creative directions. Summer 2027 therefore looks set to be a season full of sensuality, experimentation and discovery. The decision to keep some ‘All Season’ items highlights the excellence of both the manufacturing and dyeing processes, underlining the desire to continue producing classic yarns with a contemporary twist.  Opposing fibres meet and interact: basics are reworked, classics revisited, creating new textural effects. All-new mouliné yarns, sophisticated shades and dynamic surfaces are created. The theme running through the collection is a delicate balance of harmonious contrasts. Plant fibres take centre stage, with linen illuminated by new reflections, while silk (Tussah, Bourette and Bouclé) comes in super-lightweight and versatile versions. Refined transparencies, irregularities and slubs create light and shade effects that follow the anatomy of shapes, adding depth and lightness to surfaces with a delicately nuanced appearance. The theme of the collection is built on a refined coexistence of complementary elements: glossy and matt, transparent and opaque, fine and textured. 

Yarn blends, particularly silks that create refined melanges, sophisticated micro-mouliné and summer tweeds, define a rich yet natural, precious yet authentic visual landscape. Research into colours is profound and cross-seasonal. Soft, refined tones run through the entire collection, creating unexpected and harmonious combinations. Intense, silky, and allusive colours merge in unstable balances, while reassuring neutrals interact with dark and mysterious tints, in a continuous tension between contrast and continuity. Spring/Summer 2027 is a constantly evolving collection, in which fine yarns and pinpoint details come together to express personality and exclusivity.
