Vizzano and Alessandra Ambrosio star at Micam 100

Calçados Beira Rio, the well-known Brazilian footwear industry giant, could not have celebrated its 50th anniversary in a better way. Its flagship brand Vizzano, together with its brand ambassador Alessandra Ambrosio, a world-famous supermodel, was the main attraction at the 100th edition of the world’s largest footwear show. First, Ambrosio attended the Micam Fashion Show in the Micam Next space before walking through the halls, under the admiring gaze of the participants, to the Vizzano stand to meet the group’s international buyers.

But Ambrosio and Vizzano were also the centre of attention at the gorgeous gala evening held at Milan’s Castello Sforzesco to celebrate the fair’s 100th edition. On the night, Alessandra Ambrosio took part in the awarding of prizes to the brilliant companies that have made history at the longstanding Milanese fair. The attendance of the Calçados Beira Rio group on such a prestigious occasion reaffirmed the relationship that binds the Global South with the main international fashion hubs, between what is created with heart and soul and what is perpetuated with style, combining innovation, responsibility, sustainability and presence in 115 countries.
