Bemberg meets Daniele Basso

The Italian sculptor reinterprets the company’s values

To mark its 90th anniversary, BembergTM is investing in the artistic spirit of Daniele Basso to create a work capable of conveying the values of its fibre of ‘craftsmanship elegance’ using the emotional language of art. According to the creative and strategic vision of the Italian artist (known for his symbolic works in mirror-finish sustainable steel for big brands such as The Coca-Cola Company, Andrea Bocelli, Ferrari Rossocorsa and Mila Schön), sculptures can embody the entrepreneurial dream, culture and values of excellence that companies express in their own unrepeatable history and that they represent for the local community and territory.

All this is reflected in the work commissioned by BembergTM, in which the history of the Japanese brand takes shape in a blue spiral, expressing the company’s ability to adapt to the times with energy and proactivity, consolidating a new and harmonious visual identity. The interweaving threads mark out the synergies and collaborations that constantly lead BembergTM towards new opportunities. “As though in a dance, the two souls of BembergTM , one male and one female, intertwine in an elegant, vibrant and sensual whirl! The relationship of constant movement and change is based on synchrony and complicity. The unique, real and powerful creative and constant energy of life,” explains the artist.

“We are extremely pleased and grateful to have worked so closely with Daniele Basso. He has succeeded in turning BembergTM‘s values and heritage into sculpture. This way, art becomes a symbol of corporate identity, which adds value in the eyes of all our stakeholders and social solidity in the marketplace,” says Koji Hamada, CEO of Asahi Kasei Fibers Italia.
