For the new S/S 2022 collection, EcosensorTM by Asahi Kasei has concentrated all its premium features into a collection of natural and high-tech fabrics that implement new-generation values like respect for people and the environment.

EcosensorTM thus brings a number of dimensions together: exceptional sustainability, thermoregulation, refined feel, lightness, comfort and performance. Demonstrating the company’s firm commitment to creating a completely sustainable offering, EcosensorTM uses high quality, certified and recycled materials to optimise and enhance the use of resources throughout the collection. One of its premium materials is BembergTM, the high-tech product made from cotton linters through a closed-loop, transparent and fully traceable process. Dyeing and finishing processes focus on the environmental impact, as demonstrated by Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification and/or compliance with the Bluesign® programme.
There are three main categories of application: Innerwear, where structures are simple, comfortable and understated with light base-layers and fabrics made from GRS certified ingredients: recycled polyamide and polyester are combined with ROICATM EF sustainable stretch yarn. Sportswear: this range is perfect for creating lightweight, breathable and comfortable garments for sportswear and athleisure, with imaginative, dynamic structures that team technical performance and stretchiness; double-layer knits featuring 3D geometric motifs are made from recycled and GRS certified ingredients. And finally Outerwear, offering elegance and functionality for a more classic and casual choice; the range includes 100% BembergTM items in soft, high quality fabrics that feel extremely pleasant against the skin.
