51st edition of Futurmoda coming up
Machinery manufacturers consolidate their presence
A total of 320 exhibitors, including machinery manufacturers, will attend the next edition of Futurmoda, to be held in Alicante on 13 and 14 March. Futurmoda, the international footwear trade show, will return to the IFA-Fira events venue for its 51st edition.
The focus will once again be on leading footwear machinery manufacturers, which will present the latest technological innovations that are redefining the industry. Robotization, sensorization, additive production, 3D printing, health, biomechanics and sustainability will be some of the highlights taking centre stage at the fair. In addition, components companies will exhibit a wide range of products inspired by fashion trends for Spring/Summer 2025, once again demonstrating their innovative and creative capacity. Of the exhibitors confirmed to date, 70% are Spanish, reflecting the strength and dynamism of the country’s footwear sector, while the remaining 30% come from countries such as Italy, Portugal, France, Indonesia and Turkey, thus enriching the diversity and global reach of the fair.
It is important to point out that the Spanish Association of Footwear Components Companies (AEC) continues to successfully manage the marketing of this trade show, where all spaces are occupied. This highlights the continued interest and confidence of industry players in Futurmoda.
