Third appointment at international fairs
Brazilian leather attends a third international trade show in 2024: after Lineapelle New York and India International Leather Fair, it is the turn of Lineapelle Milano. Five exhibitors are attending (Couro & Arte, Courovale, Curtume Bolzano, Fuga Couros and Nova Kaeru) with the support of Brazilian Leather, created in a partnership between the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).
A total of almost 1200 exhibitors are attending this edition of Lineapelle (20-22 February) from 42 countries. Of the almost 25 thousand people expected to come to Lineapelle, almost 15 thousand are expected from Italy, which is the third largest importer of Brazilian leather (a 12.1% share in 2023), according to Rogério de Souza Cunha (Trade Intelligence Manager at CICB). A new side event at this edition is Lineapelle Interiors, which aims to promote and highlight leather in architecture and interior design.
As part of the initiative, the Leather Duets exhibition will feature a series of furniture installations made from Italian leather. The exhibition will provide an insight into the production process from split to high quality end product.
