CHIC Autumn 2025: Innovation meets efficiency

Excellent results for China’s fashion industry

CHIC Autumn 2025 once again confirmed its role as Asia’s leading trade fair for fashion and lifestyle. From 2 to 4 September, over 650 exhibitors showcased their collections and innovations across an exhibition space of 60,000 square metres, attracting a total of more than 60,000 professional visitors from 83 countries and regions. Among these were approximately 59,000 domestic visitors and over 2,000 international guests, underlining CHIC’s global reach. The exhibitor line-up represented the full spectrum of the fashion industry — from market leaders in lifestyle, sportswear, and denim, to emerging labels and sustainable innovators.

International participation from Italy, Germany, Japan, South Korea, India, and Hong Kong further emphasised the fair’s role as a gateway to the Chinese market. CHIC also hosted more than 60 matchmaking events, connecting brands, retailers, and e-commerce platforms, resulting in substantial order volumes and long-term partnerships formed directly on-site. CHIC’s international appeal was further demonstrated by its impressive list of VIP visitors: global retail giants such as Shein, JD, Galeries Lafayette and SKP; major Chinese brands including JNBY, Ellassay Group, Jiangsu Yalu Group and Guangzhou Exception Clothing; as well as leading platforms and tech companies like Taobao Tian Group (including Tmall, Taobao, 1688), FMG Fashion Dynamics Group and Star Partner Media Culture — all seized the opportunity for exchange and collaboration.

With its strategic theme New Intelligence, New Products, New Scenes and guiding motto Autumn Picnic, CHIC highlighted the transformation of China’s apparel industry through innovation, efficiency, sustainability, and digitalisation, all while creating a relaxed yet business-focused atmosphere.
