International leather goods
showcase Futurmoda returns
2025 editions to be held at Elche trade show centre
The international leather goods trade show returns with two editions next year, bringing together over three hundred exhibitors from an array of countries and over seven thousand professional visitors. Futurmoda is the essential showcase for the leather goods and footwear industry, including spaces such as Green Planet, which strengthens the commitment to sustainability by highlighting eco-friendly materials and technologies. Also on show will be recycled products, energy-efficient solutions and high-value technologies in the pursuit of sustainable practices.
Machinery makes a return this year, with displays and demonstrations of the latest technological innovations available to the sector. Attendees will be able to not only see the latest trends in materials, tanning processes, textiles and chemicals but also cutting-edge machinery designed to optimize footwear and leather goods manufacturing. Held in the IFA – Fira Alacant trade show centre, Futurmoda is not just a meeting point for designers, manufacturers and entrepreneurs, but also a networking platform with gourmet catering services and a vast range of side events for industry professionals.
The 53rd edition (12-13 March 2025) will present the Spring/Summer 2026 season, trends, technological innovations and, as mentioned earlier, machinery. The same is true for the 54th edition (15-16 October 2025), which will focus on the Autumn/Winter 2026.27 season. As is now customary, each edition of Futurmoda will bring together manufacturers and traders from around the world, showcasing a carefully selected exhibition of products for footwear, leather goods, upholstery, fashion jewellery, furs and fashion in general.
