Lineapelle 107: energy, awareness, interest
Global fashion community comes together at Fiera Milano Rho
An energetic, aware and highly interested community galvanised the 107th edition of Lineapelle from 11 to 13 February at Fiera Milano Rho, demonstrating an incredible will to build new horizons and react to the complexities of a market that has been going through tough times for more than two years but is now beginning to show some signs of bucking that trend. The fashion, luxury and design system and the creative supply chain met at Lineapelle 107 to discuss business and style, working on the collections for the 2027 summer season presented by 848 exhibitors from 33 countries.
In the near future the entire industry will have to focus on innovation and bold research into materials and solutions that can express a very high degree of naturalness. And these were the factors that attracted the interest of buyers and visitors both at the exhibitors’ stands and at the events that Lineapelle 107 staged to promote the highest level of craftsmanship. One such event featured 22 installations in the Lineapelle Interiors area, a creative platform now in its third edition that forges links between design companies and leather and materials manufacturers.
Another, Lineapelle Après-Ski, was an exhibition project inspired by the Alpine setting of the Winter Olympics that presented innovative materials and products dedicated to the mountains alongside an exhibition of humanoid robots. All the talks scheduled at the Fashion & Science Theatre were sold out: from sector-specific talks (such as the in-depth analysis of regulatory and technical issues relating to the leather supply chain) to more fashion-oriented ones, like the hugely popular conversation between journalist Mariella Milani and fashion designer Antonio Marras. The next edition of Lineapelle will be held from 15 to 17 September, as always at Fiera Milano Rho.
