Moda Makers Digital, the Carpi Fashion System event organised by Consorzio Expo Modena, returns in May enabling womenswear businesses to promote their Spring/Summer 2022 collections despite the continuing global difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Set to start on 19 May, the summer edition is now open for applications and businesses wishing to take part are invited to write to firstname.lastname@example.org. The businesses participating in the third edition of Moda Makers Digital will be able to promote their garment-making, knitwear, cutting, shirting and outerwear on an online platform specially designed to put businesses in contact with international buyers: a virtual space constantly updated and improved, since the first edition in June 2020, to meet the needs and requirements of businesses.
It is not an e-commerce site, but a showcase where samples can be displayed and negotiations carried out, in complete confidence, with buyers from around the world, mainly from wholesalers and store or chain owners.
The Carpi textile and clothing district has no intention of giving up the leading national event for fashion SMEs. Instead, its aim is to use all the tools technology makes available to support the fashion businesses that have suffered so much over the past year. Carpi Fashion System’s mission is to promote local fashion businesses. It is backed by CNA, LAPAM-Confartigianato, Confindustria Emilia, Carpi Municipality and Modena Chamber of Commerce, together with the contribution of Fondazione CR Carpi.
