Moda Makers Spring/Summer 2023

13th edition confirms positive figures

After the three-day event (10-12 May) that brought the best of Made in Italy fashion to ModenaFiere, the 13th edition of Moda Makers confirmed the interest of buyers from Italy and abroad. Customers visited from more countries, up from 13 at the last edition to 18 at this one, with Austria, Spain, Belgium, USA, Portugal, UK, Greece, France, Germany and Poland leading the way. The percentage of international buyers in proportion to the total number of visitors is in line, even slightly up, on the November edition, at around 20%.

A touch of glamour was added with an evening event in Cortile d’Onore at the Palazzo dei Pio in Carpi. “We are very pleased with today’s results, which we do not take for granted. I believe that, given the global situation, this edition’s figures confirm Moda Makers as a high-value event for Italian companies because it continues to attract attention from foreign buyers. We will use all the resources at our disposal to aim for even more growth at the November 2022 edition and we feel everything is in place to do so. After all, Autumn/Winter is the main season for knitwear and for our exhibitors, and this gives us a lot of hope,” said ModeneFiere director Marco Momoli.

The 14th edition for manufacturers and customers presenting Autumn/Winter collections 2023.24 will be held in Modena from 8 to 10 November.
