Sustainable design at Fondazione Fashion Research Italy

An upcycling workshop with Tiziano Guardini

On 25 and 26 November at the prestigious premises of the Fondazione Fashion Research Italy in Bologna, a sustainable design workshop will be led by conscious fashion designer Tiziano Guardini, an upcoming, innovative designer and winner of the Franca Sozzani Gcc Award and the Peta Couture Award. The designer will help attendees reinvent a disused garment, transforming it into something new and exciting! A maximum of 15 attendees will explore the FFRI textile design archive for inspiration on how to work with the premium quality woollen waste and offcuts made available for the free course.

The workshop is aimed at designers, fashion students and anyone looking to learn the skills needed to upcycle garments. To take part, send your CV/Portfolio and a cover letter to sostenibilita@ffri.it by 21 November. Find out how to take part or request more information here.
