Nobeoka production
New forward-looking investment
Following the incident in April 2022, which slowed production, Asahi Kasei, the sole global manufacturer of Bemberg™, has decided to focus its investments on the only Bemberg™ production plant, in Nobeoka, Japan.
Mr. Hashimoto, Senior General Manager of Bemberg™ division, said, “We have worked with many stakeholders to strengthen safety measures over time and resume production. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers, partners and employees who have enabled us to overcome this unexpected event. I want to reassure them once again that we are doing our best to restore production. In addition, together with our stakeholders, we aim to develop sustainable businesses that are even more needed on the market today”.
