Botto Giuseppe e Figli Spa has published its first sustainability report setting out the ethical and transparency values it has stood by since 1876, the year it was founded. The RWS-certified company adopts traceable and sustainable production systems with further Cradle to Cradle^TM certification. “In recent years Botto Giuseppe has focused its efforts on sustainable research and development in all areas: product, investments, ethical social and environmental policies. We have allocated significant resources to renewable energy and have improved our environmental performance through energy saving measures. We have also designed important collections with natural, biodegradable and traceable raw materials and crafted them with sustainable production processes. Today, we are continuously on the lookout for investments and innovations that will allow us to reduce the environmental impact of our production whilst doing our part to cut greenhouses gases and the other causes of climate change,” says Silvio Botto Paola, Botto Giuseppe Spa managing director.
