Authenticity as a search for harmony in an increasingly fast-paced and volatile scenario. Overcoming preconceptions and all that is superfluous and superficial to regain a true sense of belonging and memory. Monticolor, a Brescia-based company specialising in the manufacture and distribution of textile/clothing yarns, maintains consistency in its uniqueness by searching for deeper meanings. By welcoming new points of view, ideas and horizons. And by bringing together different ways of thinking, which can expand creativity and add value: all through the research, care and responsibility adopted for each individual product and witnessed by the numerous certifications obtained. Monticolor’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection expresses authenticity in three new narratives: Caribbean Rhythm, Botox Detox and Pages of Time. Three different sources of inspiration that make up a harmonious vision encompassing past, present and future.
The joy, fun and positive emotion of Caribbean music and dance are reflected in bold, full colours: Caribbean Rhythm promotes the warm shades of orange, burnt tones and the deep tints of underwater turquoise, reminiscent of idyllic views and sunsets. Energy resonates through mismatched geometric motifs and contrasting effects: weaves with irregular slubs worked together with ultrafine, mercerised yarns. It’s a combination used to maximum effect in the new IVY yarn: a pre-consumer recycled cotton roving twisted in a double spiral with organic cotton to create a braided effect. The characteristic ecru shade of raw cotton gives it a particularly natural appearance, without sacrificing the colour pattern. The environmental impact is reduced because only a minimal part of the fibres is dyed, using GOTS-certified dyes. IVY is GRS and OCS certified to guarantee maximum environmental awareness and sustainability.
Opposites attract in Botox Detox: the imperfect and natural combines with precise and defined yarns designed with a sustainable approach to reduce harm to the planet. Authenticity, organic and durable materials speak to a new elegance. The granular consistency and micro bouclé of organic textures are teamed with finer, more sculpted yarns with smooth, almost perfect surfaces. Colours are so muted as to become ‘neutral’, taking inspiration from natural elements such as rye for browns, egg for yellows and herbs for greens. The resulting authenticity brings a freshness, comfort and sustainability to the new Biofit, Biofit Performance and Grano yarns.
Like a diary packed with memories and collages of pictures that invite reflection, dilating time down to the smallest moments, because they are the result of a long and profound inner and aesthetic search. In the same way, Pages of Time is about how distant memories, faded and nostalgic, are turned into ultrafine, almost impalpable yarns in retro colours, as in the new Serico. The present, lighter and more dynamic, is depicted in the more voluminous Ondino.
