Plastic elements team up with hand loom made items, pixels and distorted identities. Moreover, beading recalling digital images, complex grid shapes, unexpected material structures. Garments with a futuristic design and refined textures harking back to noble, ancient techniques like bobbin, needlepoint and filet lace. Skilfully interwoven threads are the end result of painstaking designs created using cutting-edge software. Transparencies and contrasts, solids and voids, irregular edges and raised areas characterise outfits with a futuristic appeal whilst preserving the indelible memory of exquisite workmanship.
