Voyage

Presented by Tintunita

A great expanse of calm water surrounds archipelagos of sister lands and tiny, lonely islands. The globe spins on its axis and they become invisible, starting a treasure hunt, a voyage to lands that may not want to be found. An arduous, patient exploration leads to rare places where even cool colours are warmed by the breath of the sultry wind and local customs. In the most secluded areas, human intervention blends into the host nature without contrasting it, the fauna disturbs the trees and the terrain as it passes through, while the noises of hidden animals reveal the undisturbed life of the environment. In the corner of the land that people have carved out for themselves, flavoured vapours offer a sampling of the traditions and culture based on devotion to the homeland. Rituals and homages to the gods protecting and nourishing them, like age-old parents. Gold and orange fabrics with historical weaves take on the colours of the most unusual flowers, petals and blades of grass fill the streets while little compositions and baskets of woven leaves colour the bases of votive statuettes in ancient temples. In the red light of sunset in the southern sky, Tintunita’s radiant fabrics contemplate the new discovery, creating an experience that sinks into the cultural intimacy of a long unknown region.
