Vaulted wonders

Presented by J-Val

Above the tambour or capitals on the columns, stone and plaster domes rise towards the sky. Visitors looking upwards are filled with amazement and wonder. We feel tiny beneath the oculus in the mighty dome, which seems light despite its wrought-iron skeleton and glass cap. Elegantly unadorned, its pale gold tint generates a pale light inside the enormous architecture. The largest and oldest are also the most sumptuous, adorned with didactic frescoes in gold plaster frames and angelic high reliefs. Embodying people’s attempts to depict a divine idea, a frame at the height of the precious sunlight caressing J-Val’s accessories. The latter fully absorbs the regal, sophisticated and artistic essence of these elements, which have achieved the highest point of historical architecture. J-Val translates them into golden metal engraved with decorations and shadows in which black is not synonymous with darkness but a companion to the light reflected on them.
