Bottoli and Watanabe together again

Triple collaboration with Levi’s

Who knows if the founders of Lanificio Bottoli in 1861 would have ever imagined that, on the 160th anniversary of the company’s inception, its fabrics would be proudly displayed on a garment by Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons x Levi’s?

The longstanding mill based in Vittorio Veneto continues its collaboration with the eclectic Japanese designer.

This time, patchwork fabrics are used on the famous Levi’s jeans, creating an unexpected trio: collaborations are increasingly successful in the fashion industry, managing to reach a broader spectrum of consumers.

This triple union comes after Watanabe‘s recent collaboration with Versace, in which the Japanese designer incorporated the brand’s iconic prints into his signature work of deconstruction and reconstruction. Japan and Italy – two styles, two cultures but with one thing in common: a taste for beauty and imagination. The collaboration between Bottoli and Junya Watanabe brings them ever closer in fashion research and innovation.
