The 12th edition of Moda Makers, which brings together Italian fashion SMEs, ended on Thursday 11th November. After three online-only editions, the event returned to being an in-person affair at its new venue, ModenaFiere.
But Made in Italy fashion has more in store for buyers from around the world: Friday 12th November sees the launch of Moda Makers Digital (digital.modamakers.it), the online portal specially designed to showcase Autumn/Winter 2022.23 collections to buyers wherever they are based who were not able to attend the event due to the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic.
The event recorded the attendance of international buyers from 16 European and non-European countries, including Japan, South Korea, United States, Germany, Austria, Spain, Greece, Netherlands and Belgium. The turnout from Italian buyers was also excellent and high-calibre.
“Considering the ongoing uncertainty that still surrounds international travel and the number of exhibitors, we are extremely pleased with how the trade show went. The results from this edition are a springboard that will enable us to hold an edition in May, on which work begins tomorrow, with many more exhibitors and visitors,” says ModenaFiere director Marco Momoli. The 34 participating businesses were also pleased to see the return of visitors to the in-person event, the next edition of which will take place from 10th to 12th May 2022, when Spring/Summer 2023 collections will be presented.
