Moda Makers:
new event in Modena

The 15^th edition of Moda Makers, held at ModenaFiere on 9 and 10 May, confirmed the level of interest in the event from Italian and international buyers. Turnout from buyers wanting to see and touch the Spring/Summer 2024 collections from the 22 Italian fashion manufacturers at the event was in line with the previous two editions.

“We are aware of the challenges and changes the sector has been going through in recent years,” said ModenaFiera director Marco Momoli, “which is exactly why we feel it is important that such a fundamental sector for the territory has its own event based here. We also know we need to work hard to grow the event and that is why all players are already committing to achieving this goal. We can already see positive signs from our recent edition, which continued to attract interest from clients, who also came to Moda Makers from East Asia, proving that the creativity and quality of Italian products still have an interesting market, so it is worth working to continue to intercept the global demand for beauty that Italy and its territory have always been able to respond to.”

The participating companies were: 1970, Acquamarine, Creazioni Nigi’s, Dani Confezioni, Denis, Donne da Sogno, Emmegi 2, Gil, Doldme, Grandi Francesco, Il Trifoglio, Incontro, Luana Ferracuti, Mabal, New Terconf, Noir, Officina Italia, Pioneer, Pour Moi, To Bebay, Vezzo and Walmode. Moda Makers Fashion Party was also a big hit with visitors. Organised by SGP Grandi Eventi and promoted by Carpi Fashion System and Unione delle Terre d’Argine, it was held on the opening evening in the Cortile d’Onore at the Palazzo dei Pio, Carpi. Moda Makers is organised by ModenaFiere on behalf of Modena Chamber of Commerce and promoted by Carpi Fashion System, which includes CNA, LAPAM-Confartigianato, Confindustria Emilia, Modena Chamber of Commerce, Fondazione CR Carpi, Carpi Municipality, Fondazione Democenter-SIPE and ForModena.
