Positive signs from Moda Makers

14th edition ends with more foreign buyers

“Considering the current situation, I can say the event performed well beyond my expectations. I hope this trade show can continue to grow and that the companies that did not attend this edition come back to make the most of this great opportunity for the territory.” So says Gisella Meschiari, from Carpi-based GIL company, on the results of Moda Makers that just ended in Modena.

The 14th edition of the international fashion SME trade show, held at ModenaFiere from 8 to 10 November, ended with positive results. Encouraging signs came especially from the key area, international attendees, which increased as a proportion of total turnout compared to May’s edition. The Autumn/Winter 2023.24 collections from the 27 participating companies were seen by visitors from Spain, Taiwan, Germany, Belgium, Israel, Lithuania, Netherlands, Portugal, USA, Japan and elsewhere.

The event was obviously also attended by many clothing operators from all over Italy. Moda Makers is organised by ModenaFiere in collaboration with Consorzio Expo Modena and promoted by Carpi Fashion System, which includes CNA, LAPAM-Confartigianato, Confindustria Emilia, Modena Chamber of Commerce, Fondazione CR Carpi, Carpi Municipality, Fondazione Democenter-SIPE and ForModena. The next edition of Moda Makers showcasing the Spring/Summer 2024 collections will be held in Modena from 9 to 11 May 2023.
